Was this event necessary in lockdown?

Date:

Ayodhya: On the first day of Navratri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shifted Ramlala from a tin shed to a temporary structure (temple) made of fiber. During this event a lot of people were present there. Now people are starting to question whether in such an environment that when lockdown is declared in the whole country, Prime Minister Modi is appealing to people to stay at home, was this event could not be avoided?

UP Congress Party President Ajay Kumar Lallu has questioned the timing of this program of Chief Minister Yogi, he has tweeted that Yogi ji does not listen to the Prime Minister.

The Ayodhya administration has already banned entry of pilgrims into the town till April 2. The country is under lockdown with all flights and trains stopped, except for the movement of essential items and services.

Chief Minister, who reached Ayodhya late on Tuesday night shifted ‘Ram Lalla’ idol to a temporary structure near Manas Bhawan in Ram Janmabhoomi premises, till completion of the construction of Ram Temple.

The Chief Minister also presented a cheque of Rs 11 lakhs for the construction of the temple. The ceremony took place on the first day of Navratri.

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had earlier informed that the date for the ‘bhoomi poojan’ of the Ram Temple will be announced after April 2. Ram Navami is being observed on April 2 this year.
