Jaipur: The Congress government led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has proved a majority in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. On behalf of the government, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal moved the motion of confidence. Starting the debate on the proposal, Dhariwal said that at the behest of the central government, the elected governments in Madhya Pradesh and Goa have been dropped. Dhariwal said that this conspiracy to topple governments with money power and power could not succeed in Rajasthan.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party during this time. He said, we did not allow it to happen here like Madhya Pradesh or Goa.

While discussing the trust vote, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that efforts are being made to topple elected governments. He said that when there was a conspiracy to topple the Bhairon Singh government, I went to the Governor and the Prime Minister. Many of you were against toppling the government, they did not want to because such a tradition did not exist.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot during his address targeted leader of opposition Gulabchand Kataria. CM Gehlot said, ‘The Prime Minister says that other states should take inspiration from Rajasthan. There are many differences in the political party in the country. This happened in the rule of Vasundhara Raje in your party too. Phone tapping was not a tradition in Rajasthan, nor was phone tapping.
