PM Modi in Varanasi: Updates

In his Varanasi parliamentary constituency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for 27 projects totaling Rs 2095 crore on Thursday. He came to open the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor on December 13th. He also laid the foundation stone for a biogas-based energy production plant for the Milk Producers Cooperative Union Plant in Ramnagar, and digitally transferred Rs 35 crore in bonuses to the bank accounts of more than 1.7 lakh milk producers linked with Banas Dairy. The BJP government’s motto of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’, PM Modi added, ‘cannot be found in their (Opposition) curriculum.’ ‘Mafiawad and Parivarwad are all over their syllabus, lexicon, and worldview,’ Modi remarked.

“Today, the foundation stone for ‘Banas Dairy Sankul’ was placed since boosting the dairy industry is one of our government’s key goals,” Modi stated. In his Lok Sabha constituency of Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 22 development projects worth over Rs 870 crore on Thursday. PM Modi, speaking at the ceremony, remarked that certain individuals have turned talking about cows into a sin. “Talking about cows may be a crime for others, but cows are regarded as mothers among us,” Modi remarked. Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, talks at an event to commemorate Kisan Diwas, the birth anniversary of ex-Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh: “Farmers were pushed to commit suicide before 2014, as we all know. Thousands of farmers had committed suicide. However, following 2014, with the introduction of pro-farmer policies, effects may be seen.”

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered an investigation into the transactions on the day that elected public officials and relatives of state government officials bought land parcels in Ayodhya following the Supreme Court’s November 9, 2019, decision approving the construction of a Ram temple in the district. According to Manoj Kumar Singh, Uttar Pradesh’s Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue), the Chief Minister has requested a report with necessary papers within the next 5-7 days.

Radhey Shyam Mishra, Special Secretary, Department of Revenue, has been asked to lead the investigation, according to an official. Anandiben Patel, the governor of Uttar Pradesh, stated on Wednesday that projects began to be finished only after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister of India in 2014. “No one knew what they accomplished,” Patel, who became Gujarat’s chief minister after Modi became Prime Minister, remarked at the Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) graduation event in Meerut on Wednesday. She said that prior governments at both the national and state levels had done little visible to the public, but the current administration’s actions “can be seen and felt by everybody.”
