Bankura: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in an election rally that ‘real change’ is going to happen for the development of Bengal.
PM Modi said that the game of corruption in Bengal will no longer run. Modi attacked Mamata at the election rally and said that if you had shown your true colors ten years ago, the people of Bengal would not have chosen you. Some method takes it out. TMC’s mantra is – where scheme, scam there.
Addressing a public meeting here, Mr Modi said, Bankura helped BJP win in 2019, It will help us again.
The picture of Bankura today is witness that people of Bengal have decided on May 2, “didi jacche ashol poriborton ashche, ashol poriborton anche…(Didi will go, change will come),”he said.
The Prime Minister said Mamata Banerjee is so unnerved at losing the Bengal elections that she has started attacking me.
“In Bengal, posters have been made depicted my head being crushed under Didi’s feet,” he said.
“Didi, if you want you can put your foot on my head & kick me. But Didi, I will not let you kick Bengal’s development and dreams of its people,” Mr Modi said.
The Prime Minister slammed TMC government for not doing enough to reach piped water to people.
Mr Modi asked Centre has given several 1000 crores to Bengal, yet why is the state facing such an acute water crisis?
“Won’t let Mamata kick out Bengal and its dreams. The Union government is trying to ensure all houses get tapped water. But many people don’t have access to water here. There is not enough water for irrigation in Bengal. The youth of the state are tired,” he said.
The Prime Minister said Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat and other central schemes will be taken up in priority once BJP government comes to power
