This is Pandya’s second century in this tournament. Earlier, in the 24th match against the CAG, he had scored 105 runs in just 39 balls which included 10 sixes. This all-rounder is causing havoc with the bat but is also doing wonders with the ball. Pandya has scored 347 runs in 4 matches played so far, including 16 fours and 38 sixes. At the same time, in bowling, till now he has taken 12 wickets in 3 innings. In the first match, Pandya took 5 wickets for 26 runs, while in the second match also he took 5 wickets for 26 runs. He took 2 wickets in the third match.

This is the biggest innings ever played by an Indian batsman in a T20 match. Earlier this record was recorded in the name of Rishabh Pant. Pant had scored 128 runs in the IPL. Iyer also had a chance to beat Chris Gayle’s 175 runs, but he was dismissed on the final ball of the 17th over. Let us know that Gayle has the record of playing the biggest innings in T20 but Pandya has now got this record from India.
