New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed happiness over the package of Rs 23 thousand crore related to Corona in the Union Cabinet meeting, saying that this will give new strength to the country’s fight against this epidemic.
After the cabinet meeting on Thursday, Shri Modi tweeted and said, “A new package of more than 23 thousand crore rupees has been approved to further strengthen the fight against Corona. Under this, necessary arrangements like pediatric care units to ICU beds, oxygen storage, ambulances and medicines will be made in all the districts of the country.
On the decision taken in the cabinet meeting regarding agriculture and farmers’ welfare, he said, “Today, important decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting regarding agriculture and farmers’ welfare. To empower the mandis, arrangements have also been made for the use of Agriculture Infrastructure Fund as well as interest subvention on loans.
