New Delhi: Before the presidential election in the US on November 3, there can be many important defence deals can be sign between India and America. It can be announced during the 2 + 2 talks on October 27 between the two countries. This conversation is taking place at a time when there is a military standoff between India and China in Ladakh.
Prior to the talks, the US State Department has said that it welcomes India as a leading regional power and a global power. The US is optimistic about India’s close cooperation with the United Nations Security Council during its next term. The department said that President Donald Trump will also meet top officials of the administration, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, other top government leaders and business associates. Under the talks, the US-India global strategic partnership will be taken forward. It has also indicated the shared production and development of many military techniques and weapons.
