Ranchi: The CBI court of Ranchi has issued a release order. Lalu Prasad Yadav, who has been granted bail in the case of illegal withdrawal from Dumka treasury, may come out of jail on Friday. He is relieved by an order from the Bar Council of India.
During this entire process of bail, Lalu’s advocate Prabhat Kumar first filled the bail bond related to the bail today. After this, a fixed amount of Rs 10 lakh was deposited by the court. A copy of the order has been sent to all states. Now there is every hope that Lalu Yadav can come out of custody on Friday.
Lalu Yadav, who is serving a sentence in the fodder scam case, is currently undergoing treatment at Delhi’s AIIMS Hospital in jail custody. After the completion of the bail process, it is expected that on the basis of the instructions of the doctors, they will come to Patna or take a decision about staying in the hospital for a few days. The Lalu was granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court on 17 April. However, due to the lawyers’ stay away from judicial work in Jharkhand, the further process including the bail bond was not being completed.
