Bajaj Auto said in a statement, ‘Rahul Bajaj has been the non-executive chairman since 1972 and has been associated with the group for the last five decades. Considering his age, he has resigned as non-executive director and chairman with immediate effect with effect from April 30, 2021.

Significantly, Rahul Bajaj has played the main role in taking Bajaj Auto to the lofty heights. In the last five decades, under his leadership, the company has achieved many successes.
