Lucknow: A corona patient admitted to the PGI Hospital in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, committed suicide by jumping from the roof. Kamal Kishore, 32, was a resident of Sitapur district and was suffering from kidney disease for a long time. According to the information, on April 16, Kamal Kishore was admitted to the Hospital after being found Covid positive.
He was also undergoing dialysis along with treatment of Covid in the hospital. His second report of Corona came back positive. On the morning of 29 April, he gave his life by jumping from the small window of the washroom. Kamal Kishore was immediately taken to the hospital but the attempt to save his life could not succeed. His body has been handed over to the police.
Inspector Anand Prakash Shukla of PGI police station said that the deceased is a resident of Sitapur district. His parents have already died. He has a wife and two children.
