New Delhi: The Delhi Police Cyber ​​Cell has arrested 21-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi from Bengaluru for sharing a ‘toolkit’ related to farmers’ protests. Disha is one of the founders of the ‘Friday for Future’ campaign and she allegedly carried the toolkit forward on social media. She was arrested from his house in Soladevanhalli area of ​​Bengaluru on Saturday.

Explain that Delhi Police filed the first report on February 4 against the makers of Toolkit under sections 124-A, 120-A and 153-A of the Indian Penal Code for sedition, criminal conspiracy and promoting hatred between groups. Which was shared by climate activist Greta Thunberg through her tweeter.

According to the police, Sweden’s climate activist Greta Thunberg shared a ‘toolkit’ (Google document) on Twitter to support the ongoing farmer movement in India, although she later deleted the tweet stating that it was an ‘old toolkit’ . Greta also later tweeted an updated toolkit. This document was uploaded via Google Doc and later shared on Twitter. Police said the sequence of events in the farmer protests, including the January 26 violence during the tractor rally, was a “duplication” of the alleged action plan shared in the toolkit.
