On Monday, Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said the Narendra Modi administration would soon establish a 24-hour “helpline” for exporters seeking advice and resolving difficulties. Goyal, also in charge of consumer affairs, food and public distribution, and textiles, said that the government wants ‘Brand India’ to be a symbol of quality, productivity, talent, and innovation.
Goyal said the week-long campaign demonstrated the Centre’s determination to create a strong country for the future while speaking at an event to commemorate the start of ‘Vanijya Saptah’ as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ festivities. At the event’s debut in SEZ Noida, Goyal gave the keynote talk.

According to a government news release, Goyal stated that a unified plan for the next 25 years is needed to help India become a global leader. According to the minister, social sector changes have resulted in a more balanced growth of the country. According to Goyal, the Prime Minister’s appeal for an “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” is a homage to our independence warriors and the liberation cause, as well as “a chance for us to inspire and spark fresh ardour, exuberance, and excitement.”
The union minister said that the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh had achieved remarkable industrial growth and exports during its four-and-a-half years in power. The minister also stated that the government had taken several steps to boost growth and job creation, including lowering corporation tax, liberalisation of the FDI system, single-window clearance, and ODOP. Goyal said that the country’s economy rebounded despite the coronavirus limitations, and exports rose considerably, thanks to the PM’s strong and courageous leadership.
