According to Kalka, the Delhi government’s sentence review board “rejected” the application for Bhullar’s release, who has been imprisoned for many years.
The Delhi government has no immediate response to Kalka’s allegations.
“If the Delhi government does not give orders for Bhullar’s release immediately, we will gherao Kejriwal’s residence,” Kalka stated at a press conference with other DSGMC office-bearers.
A TADA court found Bhullar guilty in the 1993 Delhi bombing case. After the Supreme Court remitted his death sentence, he is now serving life in jail.

The DSGMC’s general secretary, Jagdeep Singh Kahlon, said Kejriwal, who is campaigning in Punjab, should accept Punjabis’ demand for Bhullar’s release from prison, where he has been detained for over 29 years.
