New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry has said that there is no community transmission situation in India but needs to be careful. Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has said that there is no travel history of 27 corona patients in the state, so most of these can be called community transmission.
He quoted some experts as saying that the situation could be terrible and that it would have to be prepared. According to the Chief Minister, experts at PGI Chandigarh predict that the corona virus will be at its peak in mid-September in India and 58% of the country’s population will be caught.
A Foreign Ministry official said that India has received requests for hydroxychloroquine from several countries. On the other hand, Joint Secretary of the Union Ministry of Health, Luv Agarwal said that India needs 1 crore hydroxychloroquine tablets whereas we have 3.28 crore tablets.
