
New Delhi: The Border Security Force (BSF) has piled five intruders trying to enter the Indian border in Punjab late on Friday night. They were warned by the Border Security Force but they did not stop. After this, the security forces tried to stop them in which they piled up.
Giving information about this, a senior officer said that the BSF killed five intruders on the Indo-Pakistan international border in Punjab in the early hours of Saturday.
The officer said that “vigilant soldiers of the 103rd Battalion observed the suspected movement of infiltrators in Tarn Taran district of Punjab in violation of IB.”
The BSF officer said that when the intruders were asked to stop, they opened fire on the BSF soldiers. Subsequently, the jawans also retaliated in self-defense and shot five intruders.
Another BSF official said that the incident occurred around 4:45 am. After this, a search operation has been started by sealing the entire area.
