Lucknow: Taking a major decision, the Yogi government has approved the formation of the Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force (UPSSF). For this, a notification has been issued by the government. Please tell that the ADG level officer will be headed by UP Special Security Force. Explain that this force has been given a lot of powers, including arrest warrants and search power.
The UP Special Security Force will be responsible for the security of important government buildings, offices and industrial establishments in the state. Apart from this, private companies will also be able to avail services of SSF. Significantly, the court will not be able to take cognizance against SSF officers and jawans.
On June 26, CM Yogi Adityanath approved the formation of the UP Special Security Force. Now the Home Department has issued its notification. Initially, the SSF will have five battalions which are also planned to be increased gradually.
