“Griha Aadhar benefit for women would be doubled from Rs 1500 to Rs 2500 per month,” AAP national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said during a women’s convention in South Goa’s Navelim Assembly seat. Every female above the age of 18 would receive Rs 1000 every month. This is the world’s largest and most effective women’s empowerment initiative.”
The declaration was made during Kejriwal’s two-day visit to Goa, where Assembly elections are set to take place early next year. “When a woman is financially secure, she will feel powerful because she will be able to spend the money on things that are important to her family.
If the AAP wins power in the state, the state government would allow financially well-off women to opt out of the plan “Kejriwal said. “The state budget is Rs 22,000 crore, of which about 20%, or Rs 4,400 crore, goes towards corruption,” the Delhi CM remarked, alleging wrongdoing.

The AAP leader stated, “We will inject this money into the system to pay these projects.” In the Goa Assembly elections in 2022, the AAP has vowed to run for all 40 seats. BJP, Congress, TMC, and Shiv Sena are among the candidates, in addition to AAP other regional Goa parties. The AAP failed not win a single seat in the 40-member Goa Assembly in 2017, while the Congress emerged as the single largest party with 17 seats.
