Meet serial is a new Hindi TV serial aired at 7.30 pm slot on Zee TV. The serial has Ashi Singh as Meet Hooda and Shagun Pandey as Meet Ahlawat in lead roles. The serial started on a great bang with a message to people in the society to not stereotype women based on their looks. It introduces us to a tomboy kinda looks of Meet Hooda who is a good daughter and son of her house. The reason she became the son of her house is that she decided to take care of her family of four as her dad passed away quite early.

Meet Hooda lives with her grandmother, mother, and elder sister. Her grandmother hates her because she considers Meet to be “manhoos” who killed her brother when they both were in their mother’s womb. She always keeps criticizing Meet for her looks and behavior but Meet doesn’t take any of the taunts to her heart and instead works harder to pay the bills and ensure the family leads a good life.

Meet meets Meet Ahlawat in a turn of incidents. Although initially, Meet Ahlawat doesn’t like Meet Hooda he starts liking her helping attitude. However, he misunderstands her one day as a bad goon who aims to only loot people of their hard-earned money. In another turn of incidents, Meet’s elder sister runs away from her marriage with Meet Ahlawat, thus making Meet Hooda left with no option than to marry Meet Ahlawat.
Although the hero and heroine get married despite such huge differences on the insistence of their family members, now comes a time when Meet Ahlawat’s mother meets Meet Hooda during the grihapravesh ceremony and gets the shock of her life.
