Cinema has been entertaining people for over a century and to pay tribute to the talent, we celebrate National Cinema Day on 23rd September every year. This year, the theatres are adding to the celebration by offering movie tickets at just Rs 75.

Indian Cinema is highly loved and cherished by the people of the country and to celebrate the important day, the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) has announced a special offer by slashing the movie tickets price to Rs 75 across the country.

A movie ticket that usually costs about 300 and goes upto 1000or 1500 for premium screens like Insignia, the National Cinema day is a delight for the cinema lovers who can avail the offer at one of the 4000 screens in India and watch it at the cost of a burger or ice cream.

The celebration day was earlier decided to be celebrated on September 16 every year, but it was later on changed for some reasons.

The offer has gone live and there is an official announcement by the Multiplex Association of India on the official Twitter handle welcoming movie lovers to enjoy the day with a celebratory price of Rs 75 in lieu of National Cinema Day.

Cinema halls including PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Carnival, Miraj, Citypride, Asia, Mukta A2, Movie Time, Wave, M2K, and Delite are all part of the list and have joined the celebrations by running the movies at a never-before price of Rs 75.

Here is how one can book the tickets online for Rs 75:

– By visiting the official website of theatres like PVR

– Sign up with your details.
– Select your city and the theatre you lik
– Select the movie show you wish to watch.
– Make the payment via UPI, net banking, etc

There is an additional fee involved if someone books the tickets through third-party online apps .  Since its tomorrow, the movie  ticktes are selling like hotcakes. Many of the theatres are already sold out for September 23. So, hurry up before all the shows go houseful.
