The AI-deepfake video that Rashmika Mandanna posted on social media let her followers down. In response to the widely shared video, Amitabh Bachchan called for legal action to be taken.

Following the global success of her deepfake video on social media, Rashmika Mandanna is the most recent celebrity to fall victim to cybercrime. The woman was seen in the footage getting into an elevator while dressed in all black. She no longer has the actress from “Pushpa”‘s face, though. Amitabh Bachchan had a different opinion on the video when it became popular, and many pointed out that it was bogus. More than 2.4 million people have viewed a fake video that stars actress Rashmika Mandanna.

Amitabh Bachchan, a Bollywood actor, posted the video, emphasizing the necessity for fresh laws and regulations.

Deepfake is a category of artificial intelligence (AI)-generated media in which a person’s resemblance is substituted for the real person in an existing picture or video.

Amitabh Bachchan was the first to notice Rashmika’s deepfake video when it appeared on social media and immediately urged legal action against it. Online users brought attention to the reality that Zara Patel, a British Indian woman with a sizable social media following, was the woman in the original video. The co-star of Rashmika’s “Goodbye” expressed his thoughts on X, writing, “Yeah, this is a strong case for legal (sic).” Rashmika, meanwhile, hasn’t responded to the video yet.

One of the drawbacks of the rapidly developing field of artificial intelligence is deepfake technology. Cybercriminals can use it to edit videos to look authentic, in addition to changing their voices to resemble someone else. The actor Rashmika Mandana is the most recent victim of deepfake.

For those who are unaware, Rashmika made her Bollywood debut in the movie Goodbye in 2022. Under the direction of Vikas Behl, the movie has notable performances by Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Elli AvrRam, Sunil Grover, and Sahil Mehta. The actress gave a good impression as Big B’s daughter.

Regarding her career, Rashmika’s upcoming film is “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor. It is scheduled to open in theaters on December 1 and is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It also stars Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in the key roles. On the opposite side, Big B features films such as the courtroom drama “Section 84,” the sci-fi action thriller “Kalki 2898 AD,” and the Rajinikanth-starring movie “Thalaivar 170.”
