Education Desk – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the UPSC NDA & NA I Exam 2025. Interested candidates aiming for a career in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy can apply through the UPSC’s official website at upsc.gov.in until December 31, 2024. The exam is scheduled for April 13, 2025.
Key dates to remember include the modification period for registration, which runs from January 1 to January 7, 2025. During this period, candidates can make necessary corrections to their application forms.
For the 2025 exam, there are 406 vacancies available across various branches:
Army: 208 vacancies, including 10 for female candidates.
Navy: 42 vacancies, including 6 for female candidates.
Air Force:
Flying: 92 vacancies, including 2 for female candidates.
Ground Duties (Tech): 18 vacancies, including 2 for female candidates.
Ground Duties (Non-Tech): 10 vacancies, including 2 for female candidates.
Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 36 vacancies, including 5 for female candidates.
Eligibility for this exam requires candidates to be unmarried males or females born between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009.
Regarding fees, most candidates must pay Rs. 100, although SC/ST candidates, female candidates, and wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempt from this fee. Payment can be made at any branch of the State Bank of India, or online via credit/debit card, UPI, or internet banking.
