New Delhi: In view of the Corona epidemic crisis, the civil service preliminary examination to be held on 31 May has been postponed. While giving the latest information, the UPSC said that when the new dates of the examination are decided, the candidates will be informed about 30 days in advance.The new exam date will be announced on May 20, 2020.
As per the UPSC Exam calendar, the Civil Service (Prelims) exam 2020 was scheduled for 31st May 2020.
“Taking cognizance of increasing the restrictions, the Commission has decided that at present it will not be possible to conduct examinations and conduct interviews,” the UPSC said in a release. It said that the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination to be held on May 31 2020 is deferred for further “Whenever the decision is taken on the next date of examination, it will be ensured that the candidates are informed at least 30 days in advance,” the release said.
