Post the MBBS course launch in Hindi by the Union Home Minister this weekend in Bhopal; Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has confirmed teaching students medical and engineering courses in our mother tongue.
To mend the language gap and prioritize Hindi, some textbooks of medical and engineering courses have been translated into Hindi to be able to support students who want to study these subjects starting from the coming year.
Though the planning was on for some time but the announcement has been made post the launch of India’s first Hindi version of the MBBS textbook in Bhopal on Sunday, October 16. Through the New Education Policy, PM Modi has given more emphasis to the mother tongue of students. This is a historic decision and will promote higher studies across the country.
Madhya Pradesh considers itself to be a proud state to start the MBBS course in the Hindi language. To begin with, three subjects have been selected to be studied in Hindi – Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry. A team of close to 100 experts have been working relentlessly on the preparation of books for the last year at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal.
Along with the language translation, the new text books have new chapter covering new topics along with new diagrams as per the changing world scenario.
