Date:

Majority of the Indian companies, be they small-sized, medium-sized, or large-scale celebrate Diwali in their workplaces by organizing a Diwali party. Whatever may be the budget of the party, the occasion is meant to bring all the employees together with or without their families, and make them a part of the grand celebration of Diwali. In India, Diwali is considered to be a New Year, so celebrating Diwali in the office, is like making a new beginning in the New Year.

So, if your office organizes or doesn’t conduct a Diwali party at the workplace, it is important that you enjoy the festive season by making it special for you and your team members. Here are some wonderful ideas to celebrate Diwali at your workplace:

1) Wear new ethnic attire:

Diwali is a festival of ethnicity and traditionality. If you get a chance in your office to wear ethnic suits and dresses to celebrate the festival, don’t shy away. Flaunt your traditional side by wearing colorful dresses that can attract the eyeballs of one and all. You will get several options for Diwali attire in online and offline shops, so make sure to dress as per the theme set by your office for the Diwali festival.

2) Take loads of selfies and photos:

Create an album or folder in your social media accounts and even your laptop titled Diwali 2022 celebration at the office. Click as many pictures as possible of your office decorations and also how people have decked themselves up in their new suits and fashions. Make sure to have all of them collected in one folder and then also share the link with all the colleagues. It is really fun to capture your wonderful moments on camera and keep them safely somewhere so that you can watch them back whenever you feel like it.

3) Gift your team members:

During the Diwali festival, people expect gifts from not just their bosses but also from their co-workers. Well, you don’t have to spend a huge amount on the gifts but make something meaningful so that they remember your gift. It can either be an accessory or a greeting card or a pen with their name or a keychain or anything that will make them recall your Diwali gift. Make them feel special this Diwali with your kind gesture and wise directions to lead good lives.

4) Support nature:

Brainstorm ideas on how you all employees can celebrate the Diwali festival without affecting nature. It can be a pollution-free Diwali by saying no to crackers or it can be a greener Diwali by opting to plant one tree for each employee. Think about such unique ideas and make sure to involve your HR manager so that he or she can make the required arrangements at the workplace to get things done.

5) Write a Thank you note:

Each year, every employee contributes in their own way to make the festival of Diwali special. It is their consistent efforts and teamwork that makes many projects be completed successfully and smoothly. So, thank each of the employees, manager, admin staff, and people who are working in your company as that will be the biggest and best Diwali gift that they can expect.
