Rohan had planned a trip to his native place because he wanted to perform some rituals that he had promised to his family members. Rohan had asked his principal of the college where he worked, for a leave for a certain duration, and the principal without looking at the calendar had agreed to the same. Just a few weeks before his trip, Rohan’s boss got to know that there is an important meeting to be held at the college while Rohan is going to be off from work. Rohan’s boss immediately put up a meeting with him and asked him to postpone his travel period because the work that he would be doing was important. However, Rohan assured him irrespective of wherever he goes or stays, he will ensure to stay connected on the calls and have the staff members working on his instructions to make sure that the audit work doesn’t stop and runs smoothly.
Rohan’s principal boss took some time and agreed to their point of view of Rohan. Also, Rohan agreed to the boss to work during his travel, thus making a win-win situation for both parties. It is not how difficult it looks when we have to convince someone of our idea. Because everyone looks for “what’s in it for me?” more than anything else.
