Date:

With the pandemic and growing work-from-home culture across different sectors; there is a surge in demand for office spaces in metros as well as tier 2 and 3 markets. This comes as a great relief to the co working business as they had a lull period of more than 2 years.

Now with the betterment in the situation, the office spaces are being occupied by small, medium size and even large businesses and individual practitioners. These offices work very well for them due to the flexibility of operations and the overall infrastructure provided by the co-working offices. Also, with the unpredictability of the ongoing covid, the hybrid workspaces work better as the cost and occupancy are offered in a variety of deals best suited to the nature of business and work of a brand.

Basis the findings of a recent survey conducted by a brand that deals into coworking spaces, the requiremen for such spaces is going to see a huge spike in the upcoming coming years especially from cities like Chandigarh, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, and Lucknow.

Surprisingly the rise in trend for flexible workplaces are coming from cities like Coimbatore, Madurai, Thiruvananthapuram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Gulbarga which were never part of the list.

The increase in demand is coming from mostly start-ups and sectors like Information technology, where employees are working for foreign clients and have to connect with the teams mostly virtually and doesn’t really need a facetime.

The changing work culture is the result of growing business needs as companies are offering working options like working remotely from anywhere, so a lot of employees have shifted basis or a working from home towns conveniently with such facilities at their disposal.
