Delhi University to conduct open book mode exam due to coronavirus pandemic

The Delhi University is planning to hold examinations for its last year post graduate and under graduate courses students from 1 July due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Also, if the current crisis situation doesn’t come to normal by that time, then the university plans to adopt ‘Open Book’ mode exam.

For those who are unaware, open book mode exam means students can be able to check the books, notes and other study material to answer the questions asked in the exam.

Students can sit in their homes to give the exams by downloading question papers from the university portal and then upload the answers within the duration of two hours.

A final date sheet of the exams is expected to be declared by the varsity by the end of this month. The university will also provide separate guidelines for exams of first year and second year students of undergraduate courses and first year of post graduate programme.
