Concept of the day: Customer Satisfaction

When you go to a shop and buy an expensive product, it is obvious you would expect that the product should be worth of whatever hard-earned money you have spent.

In case, the product doesn’t live upto your expectations, you feel cheated and sad for wasting money on a worthless product.

In this scenario, you are the buyer, and your satisfaction is utmost important to you.

Now let’s look at the story from a shop or business’s perspective. Now suppose you are a seller and your customer comes to you with his bad experience of dealing with a faulty product, what will be your response?

If you reply to your customer in a bad manner, saying that your product is the best (even if it is at fault) and ignore your customer’s feelings and thoughts, then you are giving an example of customer dissatisfaction i.e. you are making your customer unhappy and losing him or her knowingly and in fact, inviting yourself into a major trouble in the long run.

From this story, what do you get to learn? Well, I just got to understand about the concept of Customer satisfaction in one simple line:
Customer satisfaction is all about helping your customer to be happy with your product and winning him with your service so that he comes back to you again and again.
