Ghazipur: 42 corona virus patients have gone missing from Uttar Pradesh’s district Ghazipur. District officials are yet to trace them. The mobile numbers of all these Corona infected are either switched off or entered incorrectly. District top officials say that all those 42 Corona patients gave the wrong address and wrong mobile number.
More than 50 positive cases of corona are being reported daily in Ghazipur. In such a situation, the risk of infection has increased due to the disappearance of 42 corona patients.
The Chief Medical Officers of Ghazipur have written a letter to the Additional District Magistrate of Ghazipur regarding the 42 corona patients who went missing. The letter states that neither 42 Corona-infected patients are in the hospital nor are there quarantines at their address. It is written in the letter that ’42 corona patients are being traced’.
Incidents of disappearance of corona patients are coming out for last 15 days. More than half of the city has been declared a hotspot regarding Corona.
