Sant Kabir Nagar: In Sant Kabir Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, 19 more people including 18 members of the same family have been found infected with the corona virus. District Magistrate Ravish Kumar Gupta said on Saturday that these 19 people were confirmed infected late on Friday night. He said that a student who came to the district from Deoband was found infected with the corona virus on April 23 after which his family and relatives were kept in isolation and their samples were sent for testing.
Gupta said that samples of 30 people from the family of a student from Deoband were sent for examination, out of which 18 people have confirmed infection. He said that another person has been found infected in a village in Bakhira police station area. He recently returned from Mumbai. All the people in his family have been kept in isolation and their samples have been sent for examination. Gupta said that the number of people infected with Corona virus in the district has increased to 21. The places where the infected people live have been completely sealed.
Apart from this, the total number of people infected in the district has increased to 160 after nine new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. Saharanpur Chief Medical Officer Dr. BS Sodhi told Bhasha that the number of infected patients in Saharanpur so far was 151, which has increased to 160 after nine new cases were reported. Saharanpur District Magistrate Akhilesh Singh said that the number of people infected with the corona virus in Saharanpur district has been increasing continuously for the last two-three days. He said, “The decision of the Central Government and the State Government regarding opening of shops will be taken after consideration.
