New Delhi: Covid’s cases continue to boom. On Saturday, the highest number of cases were reported in the country in the last 5 months. According to the Union Health Ministry, 62,258 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of infected people has increased to 1,19,08,910. At the same time, 291 people have died due to this dangerous virus in 24 hours, the number of dead has increased to 1,61,240.
At the same time, 30,386 patients have become infection-free and so far the total number of people who have been free from infection with this virus has increased to 1,12,95,023. The number of active corona patients has increased to 4,52,647 in the country.
According to the Health Ministry, Maharashtra has reported the highest number of 36,902 new cases in the last 24 hours. At the same time, Punjab is second in the list of new cases where 3,122 new cases have been reported, besides 2,655 in Chhattisgarh, 2,566 in Karnataka and 2190 new cases have been reported in Gujarat.
