New Delhi: Corona vaccine will be charged at Rs 250 on private hospitals and centers. The Union Health Ministry has fixed a maximum price of Rs 250 per dose for a vaccine in a private hospital or vaccination center. While the vaccine will be free in all government hospitals and centers. At present, more than 10,000 private hospitals in the country are empaneled under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi scheme, while 687 private hospitals are on the panel of CGHS. Vaccination can be done in all of these.
The list of private hospitals has also been uploaded on the website of the Ministry of Health. Apart from all this, vaccination can also be done in Government Medical College, District Hospital, Sub Divisional Hospital, CHC, PHC. People over the age of 60 will only have to show their identity card, which will confirm their age and get vaccinated. Whereas people with chronic illness of 45-59 years will have to sign a form from the registered medical practitioner.
Not only this, now there will be three ways to register –
- Get registered in advance, then go for vaccination.
- Get registered on the spot and get the vaccine.
- Get the group registered with the help of officials.
