New Delhi: Corona virus cases are increasing rapidly in India. So far, 4421 cases of covid-19 have been reported in the country and 114 people have also died due to this dangerous virus. Regarding the corona virus infection, Dr. Randeep Guleria, director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), has said that in some places the corona virus has reached the third stage. There is a community spread that has to be stopped. We must follow the lockdown.
However, Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Health, said in a daily press conference on Monday (6 April), India is in the middle of the second and third phase in the case of covid-19 infection. He dismissed the apprehensions of India reaching out to India in the event of a community infection associated with the third stage of corona virus infection, saying, ‘India is still in the middle phase of the second phase. Every effort is being made to prevent it from reaching the third phase.
When asked by Joint Secretary Luv Agarwal on the AIIMS Director’s statement, he said, “The statement made by Randeep Guleria and what we are telling is nothing different. The government is working on a strategy to prevent community infection. A limited number of such cases have been reported in some areas. When more such cases start coming up, only then action can be taken fast.
AIIMS director Randeep Guleria told that there have been cases of community spread in Mumbai. Apart from this, some other state areas are also included in it. However, he made it clear that even in the country, the corona virus is on stage two and if managed to stop it, it will remain on stage two
