Meerut: The chain of corona infection is becoming stronger in western Uttar Pradesh’s main city Meerut. After Unlock 1, the cases of covid 19 are continuously increasing and there has been no day for almost a week when a corona victim has not died. Even today an explosion of corona occurred in Meerut and 23 new corona cases were confirmed, while an elderly person died.
In the bulletin issued by the Health Department, it was told that the number of corona infected in Meerut has reached 600. Today, the number of corona infected has increased to 605, including 23 new cases, of which 140 are active cases while 419 have been sent home after treatment. Today, 86 years of old people have died in the city, thus the death toll from Corona in Meerut is now 46.
Today, of the new corona cases found, most of them are young people, whose age is below 40 years. According to the bulletin, today 400 samples were sent for the test, while 168 were tested, out of which 23 were reported positive. Till date 17453 samples have been tested in Meerut.
