New Delhi: 1133 people have died in the last 24 hours due to corona infection in India. This is the highest death due to corona in one day in India. According to the update released by the Ministry of Health, 75,809 cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. This time, the decrease has been observed against more than 90 thousand cases coming continuously for the last three days.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of corona infections in the country has now increased to 42,80,423. However, there are 8,83,697 active cases in it. At the same time, 33,23,951 people have been cured of this epidemic. So far, a total of 72,775 people have died due to corona in the country.
Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research has reported that more than five crore corona samples have been tested so far in the country. According to ICMR’s Tuesday data, a total of 5,06,50,128 sample tests of corona virus have been done till yesterday (7 September). In this, 10,98,621 tests were conducted on 7 September itself.
The highest number of cases came from Maharashtra in the last 24 hours across the country. With 16,429 new cases of corona virus infection reported in Maharashtra on Monday, the total number of cases in the state rose to 9,23,641. After the death of 423 patients in the same period, 27,027 people have died due to this deadly virus in the state. So far, 6,59,322 patients have been cured in the state while 2,36,934 patients are undergoing treatment.
