Active cases of corona infection increase in India again

New Delhi: On the second day in the country, more than 44 thousand new cases of corona infection were reported and the number of active cases has increased to more than four and a half lakhs.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 44,489 new cases have come up in the last 24 hours and the figure of infected has reached 92.66 lakh. The number of active cases increased to 7598 with new cases increasing to 4.52 lakh. During this period, 36,367 patients became healthy, which together has outnumbered Corona to 86.79 lakh. With the death of 524 more patients in the same period, the death toll has risen to 1,35,223. The rate of active cases in the country has increased to 4.88 percent and the recovery rate to 93.66 while the death rate is still 1.46 percent.

The most affected cases of Covid-19 in Maharashtra have increased from 1250 to 85,488. With the death of 65 more patients in the state, the death toll has risen to 46,748, while so far more than 16.63 lakh people have beaten the corona.

In the national capital Delhi, active cases have come down and its number has now come down to 38,287. In the last 24 hours, 99 people have died here and the number of people who have died from this disease has reached 8720 while more than 4.98 lakh patients have been free of infection so far.

In the southern state of Karnataka, the number of active corona patients has increased by 278 to 24,909 during the last 24 hours. The death toll in the state has reached 11,714 and so far around 8.41 lakh people have recovered. In Andhra Pradesh, there was a decrease of 351 active patients to 12,673 during this period. So far 6962 people have died due to corona in the state and more than 8.45 lakh people have become infection free.

Active cases have increased to 24,876 in Uttar Pradesh and 7644 people have died due to this epidemic. So far, more than five lakh patients have become healthy in the state. In Tamil Nadu there has been a decrease of 355 in active cases and this number has come down to 11,520 and 11,655 people have died so far. So far more than 7.51 lakh people have been infection free in the state.
