Thanksgiving is usually a yearly national holiday day in the United States, Brazil and more countries celebrated on fourth Thursday of November.
This year, Thanksgiving 2020 is observed on 26 November. It is a day to thank and acknowledge the sacrifices and blessings of the last year.
It also marks the beginning of the holiday season including the harvest. In the US and foreign countries, families who live far and away come together on this day, remember their past blessings and eat a grand feast together.
The first day after Thanksgiving Day, which is Black Friday is the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.[
