New Delhi: Corona virus cases in the security forces are increasing day by day. On Tuesday, 20 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the CISF. Of these 20 cases, 18 are under the security of IGI Airport of Delhi.
Let us tell you that there are 78 active cases of corona in CISF with more than 1.62 lakh personnel, while 132 employees have been cured of this disease. Since Monday, 10 personnel of the force have been discharged. Of the 78 CISF personnel infected, 54 are posted in Delhi, 12 in Mumbai, four in Jharkhand, three in Kolkata, two in Chennai and one each in Hyderabad, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh.
Officials said that 20 new cases have been confirmed in the force on Monday, of which 18 are deployed in the security of Indira Gandhi International Airport. While one case is from NTPC Koldam unit in Himachal Pradesh and the other is from Punjab and Haryana Secretariat in Chandigarh.
