New Delhi: Corona infection is spreading rapidly across the country. Today, 1165 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Maharashtra and in the last 24 hours 48 people have died due to corona infection in the state. In this way, the total number of Covid-19 positive people in the state has increased to 20,228. The Maharashtra Health Department has given this information.
In Mumbai’s largest slum, Dharavi, 25 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported, after which the total number of infected people in the region has risen to 833 and one person died due to infection on Saturday.
An official of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that so far 27 people have died here and the total cases of infection have gone up to 833. He said that these new cases have been reported in other areas including Muslim Nagar, Mukand Nagar, Azad Nagar, Dharavi Main Road, Dhorwara, Matunga Labor Camp, Indira Nagar, Balaji Nagar, Kumbharwara. On Thursday, one person was killed by infection in Nayak Nagar.
