Destiny is fate. Destiny is a thing that is surely going to happen in a person’s life no matter what. People who work in the field of astrology or fortune-telling think that they can predict events in a person’s life and make them beware to do certain things and not doing a set of things in life. However, their predictions can be only 50-60 percent accurate. Such predictions cannot determine the entire course of a person’s life no matter what. Because there is an external force or energy that is at work in a person’s life that helps events unfold to him or her naturally and no human can change things in their own way.

You might have heard people saying that they have reached a certain point of success due to sheer hard work and they have created their destiny with their own hands. It is true that many people work hard and don’t give up till they achieve success. But apart from their hard work, there is also a factor called LUCK or FORTUNE or DESTINY that is working in its manner.

For example, a person may have topped his engineering exams and may have thought to get a job in a foreign country to earn a high-package salary. However, things go haywire when he meets with an accident or a personal loss and that is not easy for anyone to take it in a light manner. In such a scenario, the person decides to drop all his plans and work in a small firm in his own city to support his family and be their moral support. Will you call that his destiny or fate? Yes, I would because he had really worked hard and smartly all these years to reach the top level but his personal situations pushed him to live a life of an ordinary person.
Same way, you might have seen in movies how a junior artist or a person with not many educational qualifications or studies, lands up having a huge role in a big company. That is how destiny played in their favor in the film, of course, which paved the way for them to lead a luxurious life. Saala, tu toh bahut kismatwala nikla re! – you might have heard sentences like these from your friends if you unexpectedly topped your exams or cracked a job interview that was beyond your capacity.
That is because you were destined to be in that position that life gave you as a gift. Sometimes people don’t dream to have big houses or be in the topmost position but life’s events turn in such a favorable manner that they get the right opportunities which they explore, get noticed, and land those things. You may think that all businessmen or rich people are corrupt but in fact, there are quite genuine ones in those lot too who have worked really hard to reach where they are.
So, I will define destiny as something that is of the future, unseen or unheard, and can be created by a person if he really works hard and accepts life’s natural events as they come without losing hope.
