Wynn invests $80 million in a online-gaming joint venture

Wynn Resorts Ltd. is investing funds of $80 million in a newly reorganized joint venture.

The idea is to continue online betting in the U.S. and make a mark in the fastest-growing industry.

Wynn had established a association an European online gaming company called BetBull Ltd two years back, to carry on with sports betting.

Now the new venture is jointly owned by Wynn (71%) and BetBull’s former shareholders (29%).

Hence, this makes the company to venture into online betting operations overseas with Wynn’s sports betting and social games in the U.S.

Wynn Internative will be the name under which the revamped venture will operate. The plan is to expand to Colorado, Michigan and Indiana in the nearby future.
