As the country is under lockdown since the last many months, many employees have been working from home.

But with work from home has created new health problems. Many professionals working from home are complaining of continuous back pain and neck pain.

Sitting for almost 10-12 hours in a day using the laptop has caused joint pain among young professionals.

A recent study says that there was 680% growth in online consultations for orthopaedic issues and 45% of complainants were in the 21-30 age group, while 35% came from the 31-40 age group.

Taking breaks and sitting in the right posture can help many overcome the health challenge, says physiotherapists. Simple workouts to keep the back flexible and running can be of help.

Although many offices are reopening, however, many temporary work from home has been the new normal. Whether you will be able to embrace the new normal or come up with more new problems in your life apart from the pandemic, is your call.
