It means the company may be planning to alter its date because if the sales are on similar dates, then many customers will be lost during the process. So, basically, the start and last date of the GIF are yet to be revealed. As we notified you Amazon had tied up with the State Bank of India for offers and cashback. On the other hand, Flipkart has associated with ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank, says the information on the Flipkart app.
Also, on the sale page that Flipkart has made live, the company has said that it will disclose the discounts much before the sale will be initiated. So, by 1st to 3rd October, you can expect the information on discount prices on the sale page of Flipkart. There is also a lock pass that Flipkart intends to sell to its users.
So, for the unversed, let us inform you that the price lock feature allows users of Flipkart to pay a small deposit and make sure that a specific product at a specific price can be made available for them later even if the demand becomes high. The lock pass will protect users from price changes or stockouts that are usual during the festive sale.
Apart from the price lock feature, Flipkart will also potentially have virtual rooms, customer-specific beauty, and personal care guidance, and several other features.
Flipkart also shared that its loyalty program and website homepage will be reworked for the festive sale event. Flipkart’s BBD page also talks about providing a discount of 40-60 percent across categories like smartphones, electronics and accessories, home and kitchen, fashion, TVs, and many more products.
As you all know the sale is being introduced at a time when the e-commerce sector is progressing slowly and inflation is ruining the show. E-commerce companies usually launch festive sales from September to October to monetize the festival season in India every year.
Amid the layoff season and the upcoming festivals of Navratri and Diwali happening in India, it will be interesting to see how these e-commerce companies are able to make profits from common people’s buying options this year.
