Bollywood director Vivek Agnihotri on Saturday shared on X (formerly called Twitter) his views through the Ask Me Anything session. He shared some details about his upcoming movie The Vaccine War. In the session, a user asked him about Jawan, the film led by Shah Rukh Khan, which will be released a few weeks before Vivek’s movie.

Someone wrote to Vivek in the Ask Me Anything session: ‘Jawan ka trailer kesa laga (What are your thoughts on Jawan trailer).’ The The Kashmir Files filmmaker heaped praises, “Adbhut (wonderful). Mind blowing. Blockbuster written all over it.”
Another user asked Vivek if he would be watching Jawan or not. To which the director said that he was finding it really difficult to get tickets. He said, “FDFS. FDFS. FDFS (first day, first show). But where are the tickets, yaar. SRK se bol ke dila do please (pls ask Shah Rukh Khan to get me tickets).” His tweets are coming just few days after Vivek has shared a meme that made fun of Jawan and Prabhas’ Salaar.

Apart from this war on films, Vivek also shared his expectations from the film The Vaccine War. One user wrote to him, “Kab aa raha new propaganda (when is your new propaganda film releasing)?” Replying to the trolling, Vivek said, “Thoda propaganda to tumne bhi vaccine mein liya tha Amit. Bas usi propaganda ko le ke aa raha hoon 28th SEPTEMBER ko. Apni maan ko le ke aana propaganda dekhne (Even you are a part of the propaganda vaccine. It will be released on September 28. Do watch it). Your mother will love you for this.”
Vivek also replied to the query of another user who asked “Why are you making Pro Government movies? For money or for Rajya Sabha seat in upcoming days?” He responded, “Arindam, my ambition is not so small which can fit in Rajya Sabha. Think something bigger for me.”
The Vaccine War is a movie believed to be based on the COVID-19 vaccine that was made in India during the coronavirus pandemic. The film features Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, Raima Sen, and Pallavi Joshi in the lead roles, and it will be released in Hindi, English, Bangla, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujarati and Marathi languages. It is supported by Pallavi Joshi, Vivek’s wife.
Jawan is an upcoming Hindi film that has been co-written and directed by Atlee. The film is Atlee’s first Hindi movie which will star Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role. It will also feature Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra. The film has been produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.
The film is touted to be a major comeback for Shah Rukh Khan from a non-Yash Raj banner who is trying his best to win people’s hearts after a gap of four years. No wonder Pathaan collected majorly at the box office but Jawan is said to be a big thing for Shah Rukh for trying his luck with young filmmakers.
