Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday asked the megastar of Bollywood Mr. Amitabh Bachchan to pay a visit to the Rann Utsav, which means the Rann festival that will be held in Kutch in Gujarat.

Modi also invited Bachchan to come and see the Statue of Unity as his visit to the world’s tallest statue is still pending. 

Amitabhji took to X to share how Modiji visited Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Temples in Uttarakhand but he couldn’t visit the locations in person. He wrote on his Twitter handle, “T 4799 – The religiosity .. the mystery .. the divinity of Kailash Parbat , has been intriguing me for long .. and the tragedy is that I shall never be able to visit it in person”.

Modiji saw the tweet and responded to the Bollywood megastar that he must ensure to make a visit to Kutch during the Rann festival and also complete his desire to visit the Statue of Unity. Modi wrote on X, “My visit to Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Temples was truly mesmerising. In the coming weeks, Rann Utsav is starting and I would urge you to visit Kutch. Your visit to Statue of Unity is also due. @SrBachchan”.

Modi recently went on a day-long visit to Uttarakhand wherein he prayed at Parvati Kund in Pithoragarh and also got a chance to visit Adi Kailash peak, which is considered to be the abode of Lord Shiva. He also took part in a religious function at Jageshwar Dham which has been undertaken as a parikrama around Jyotirlinga and got involved in a meditation practice at the holy place.

Modiji later launched and set up the foundation stone of various development projects worth ₹4,200 crore and also spoke in a public meeting.

It was back in 2012 when Amitabhji was the brand ambassador of Gujarat Tourism when Modiji was serving as the chief minister of the state. Amitbahji recently celebrated his 81st birthday.

Although Amitabhji has completed 81 years, but he has not yet announced his retirement from the film industry. In fact, he is still hosting the new season of Kaun Banega Crorepati with full enthusiasm and vigor. There are several fans and followers with whom he ensures to meet on Sundays outside his home.

Amitabhji’s phenomenon is so huge that aspiring actors just want to meet him once to understand how he has set up his foundation so strong and helped the Indian film industry reach to new heights. 

Amitabhji’s upcoming movies include Kalki 2898 AD, and Ganapath. Also, his grandson Agastya from his daughter Shweta is going to make his debut in Bollywood soon. Already his son and daughter-in-law i.e. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have made their mark in the Hindi film industry for more than two decades. So, it will be interesting to notice how the third generation of Bachchans create their magic on the screen and keep the audiences entertained.
