Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu shared his heartfelt thankfulness to the A-list actor of Bollywood for his warm support. The minister stated how the donation would provide assistance in relief and rehabilitation efforts to help the affected families recover from the disaster.

Aamir produced the movie Laapataa Ladies that has been directed by Kiran Rao has got an amazing response at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Laapataa Ladies features Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan in prominent roles. The film was screened at the grand premiere at the well-known Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 8 this year. The film’s story is from 2001 in the rural India. Laapataa Ladies is the story of the jolly chaos that occurs when two young brides get lost on a train.
Laapataa Ladies has been presented by Jio Studios and the film has been co-produced by Aamir and Jyoti Deshpande. The film has been produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions. The script of the story is based on a recognized story by Biplab Goswami.
In theatres, the film will have its release on January 5, 2024.
Aamir will be returning to the big screen after his recent movie Laal Singh Chaddha failed to meet the expectations of the audience and critics. The actor hadn’t announced any project after poor reviews for his movie. But now he has confirmed that there will be an upcoming movie under his production house, Aamir Khan Productions.
The film trade insider Taran Adarsh said that Aamir’s upcoming movie which doesn’t have a title will be released in Christmas next year. The movie will start filming in January 2024 and it is presently under the pre-production stage.
