Auto Desk – Vida V1 Electric Scooter was showcased on Tuesday at the Hero World Challenge, an event hosted by legendary golfer Tiger Woods at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas.

Pawan Munjal, chairman, and CEO, of Hero MotoCorp, said, Vida, is about sustainable life and future and Vida V1 here at this tournament highlights our focus on sustainability.

Recently, Vida opened its maiden experience center in Bengaluru and the next Vida experience center will come up in Jaipur. Also, they plan to expand to select European, Asian, and Latin American countries in the future.

The Vida V1 electric scooter is available in two variants, Plus and Pro. The Vida V1 Plus is priced at Rs 1,45,000 and Vida V1 Pro is priced at Rs 1,59,000. The deliveries of the Vida V1 will commence in December.

The Vida V1 has a speed of 80kmph and the V1 Plus can accelerate from 0-40kmph in 3.4 seconds, while the V1 Pro is 3.2 seconds. The V1 Plus IDC range is 143km and 165km for the V1 Pro. It has a permanent magnet synchronous motor that has a maximum output of 6kW. Also, there are four riding modes, Sport, Ride, Eco, and Custom.

The electric scooter has a removable battery, V1 Plus has a 3.44kWh battery, and V1 Pro has a 3.94kWh. Both variants fast-charged (0-80%) at 1.2 kilometers per minute. The regular home charge for the V1 Plus is 5 hours 15 minutes and for the V1 Pro is 5 hours 55 minutes.

Moreover, it offers features like custom mode, cruise control, boost mode, two-way throttle, keyless access, and an over-the-air enabled 7-inch TFT touchscreen.
