Auto Desk – Maruti Suzuki launched its Jimny 5-door at the Auto Expo 2023. It will go on sale by mid-2023 and bookings have been made open from today onwards. Let’s look at the feature of this amazing SUV.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door Features

The Jimny 5-door has a longer wheelbase along with two additional doors and revamped rear quarter. It also has upright pillars, smooth surfacing, circular headlamps, a slatted grille, chunk off-road tires, and flared wheel arches. The Jimny measures a length of 3,985mm, a wheelbase of 2,590mm, a width of 1,645mm, and a height of 1,720mm.

It has newly designed rear doors and comes with a style of box-like body. It comes with a door-mounted tyre with a black covering, bumper-mounted tail lamps, and rides on 15-inch alloy wheels.

The Jimny 5-door has all black themed dashboard with a 9-inch touchscreen at the center. It also comes with ample smart storage spaces, toggle switches along with a 4×4 gear lever.

It gets the automaker’s SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto along with Arkamys sound system. For safety, it has six airbags, ESP with hill hold assist, hill descent control, rear-view camera, and ABS with EBD.

Moreover, it gets a K15B engine mated to a 4-speed torque converter automatic or a 5-speed manual gearbox. It can produce 105hp and 134Nm of peak torque.

Talking about price, it is expected to be around ₹12 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
