Following the declaration of approaching Assembly elections in five states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold his first virtual political interaction with BJP members in Varanasi on January 18.

According to sources, he would offer the party’s workers a victory slogan for the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, and will instruct them to inform people about the party’s welfare programmes.

According to insiders, the top leadership has begun preparations at the district level so that the greatest number of people can be connected.
This political event will be held virtually because the Election Commission of India has stopped all physical rallies until January 15 due to an alarming increase in COVID-19 cases across the country.

For the 403 Assembly constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, the election will start February 10 in seven phases and its results will be announced on 10 March.
