Mamata Banerjee sworn in as CM of WB for the third time

Kolkata: After a landslide victory in the assembly elections, Mamata Banerjee today took the oath of office for the third time as Chief Minister of West Bengal. The swearing-in ceremony has been kept short due to the Corona crisis period and its guidelines. Mamata Banerjee is sworn in alone. During this, only Mamata Banerjee and Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar appeared on the stage.

Prashant Kishore, TMC’s election strategist, was present at the swearing-in ceremony. Apart from this, Mamata’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee also stayed here. Apart from these, Pradeep Bhattacharya and some TMC MLAs reached this function. BJP has also boycotted the ceremony.

After taking the oath, Mamata Banerjee said that her priority would be the fight against Corona. She also said that the incident of violence will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against those who do so.

At the same time, the Governor also raised the issue of violence after the election. Describing Mamata Banerjee as his younger sister, he gave them advice on the issue of law and order. The governor said that there should be rule of law and order in the state. It is expected that Mamata will run according to the constitution.

As a response to the Governor’s remarks, Mamata targeted the Election Commission. Mamata Banerjee said that till now everything was under the Election Commission, Election Commission had changed a lot of officers, I have just sworn in, I will make fresh arrangements.
